Legal Question in Consumer Law in Australia
I called a service agent to look at my Air con. Despite a few calls he turned up 7 weeks later, had a look and told me he did not know anything about my unit. He would make some calls and get back to me. My call to him a few weeks later with no answers excuses or time frame. Made me feel like I was a pest. Assumed he was not interested in Job. Made other arrangements. 4 weeks later got a call from Agent saying could not be fixed, will quote replacement. Told them don;t worry, made other arrangements. Now he has sent a account for over $200 for service call.
Made me wait for almost 3 months and done nothing!
Am I liable to pay?
