Legal Question in Consumer Law in Australia
part payment of account
We are a slashing partnership and have done work for a client who refuses to pay full amount. Work was done in March. The client has had 2 phone calls asking for payment and when payment eventually arrived it was $100 short as he said he took money off for 2 trees run over. He never mentioned this in any of the two phone calls to him. I have sent a letter asking for money but still no reply. Can i take him to small claims court for the money??
thanks.
