Legal Question in Consumer Law in Australia

I won a free photography shoot. An appintment was made at a mutual time of 3pm. When I turned up I was not seen until 5pm (. I was told continuously that I it would not be long ). My make up was quickly applied and then I had to change into a top I was told to bring in for the shoot which I did. After the photos were taken an appointment was made to come back and view them. I was told to pick out some photos. I wasnt happy with the photos but felt obliged as the photo shoot was free. i picked out some photos and was then told it would cost $4000. I told them I didnt want any photos as that was to expensive. They then reassured me and said to pick out less photos and they would do me a discount. I picked some photos out but didnt have the confidence to say no I dont like them, they then told me it would cost just over $2000, I paid $1000 upfront but never went back to pay the other half as the photos are awful. I have had 4 phonce calls over a period of 16months requesting me to return their calls as they would charge interest and now they have left a message stating they would call the debt collectors. They still have the photos. I dont want them Do I have to pay or can I ask for my $1000 to be refunded.
