Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Australia

Do Australia and the United States have any laws or treaties that govern personnel debt collection. If I were to default on credit card debt(accumulated in the USA) can creditors take action against me and attack my assets or wages in Australia.

Austrialia judgments will be given comity in the U.S. courts. Which means that a judgment will be converted to a U.S. judgment and can be enforced against you. All that is true unless the judgment in Australia was a default judgment and then comity is probably not available to the creditor.
