Legal Question in Criminal Law in Australia
Explain the difference between summary criminal offences and indictable offences. Also give an example for each offence.

A summary offence is one that can only be finalised in the local court, for example 'offensive conduct'. An indictable offence can be dealt with in higher courts such as the District and Supreme Courts, such as drug importation.
