Buying out your partner

When you buy out your partner. Do they have to pay you half of what the house is worth?

There isn't a simple answer to this question. It depends on a number of factors, the most important being whether you are a married or a de facto couple and how long you lived together. You should obtain legal advice from an experienced family lawyer.
