Re: children

If your husband decides he does want to resume a relationship with his children the court is likely to allow him to do so. But it must be in the best interests of the children. The Family Law Act provides children have a right to know and have an ongoing relationship with both parents. However if the children are older and more mature and are expressing a strong wish not to see their father then the court probably won't require them to do so.
