Legal Question in Family Law in Australia

Can our son or his wife refuse us the right to visit their son (our Grandson) on important days such as Birtdays,Christmas or Easter. Our son and his wife have threatened to involve the police if we turn up uninvited at her parents residence(this is where our son,his wife and our grandchild are living at the moment) to try to see our grandson again

Neither my wife our I have any criminal history and are both professional people of good character. Our intentions are only to spend some time with our Grandchild, give him his presents

and give him the opportunity to get to know us.

What can we do to see him?

Are they allowed to stop us legally?

Can we get a court ruling allowing us to see him?

This is difficult to answer without a full consultation & taking down the history of the matter. Depends upon existing court orders whether they can stop you. Yes you can get court orders but there are things you need to do first.
