Need an attorney to sue over products that harm others

I bought products from an Australian based company and my pets were harmed by those products.

The company that makes the products is based in the U.S. and then sends such products to the other country.

What is my statute of limitations, can I bring suit in America?

I'm now finding out this is a wide spread, problem. Why can these products come into the country through our customs if they are harmful?

Sure, you could bring suit against the manufacturer(in the United States)if not the distributor(in Australia). But what would be your claim for damages? Probably, not enough to justify such a suit.

The SOL is probably two years from the last event which allegedly caused the harm.
