Legal Question in International Law in Australia
SURROGACY ( Carrying child for my sister)
Dear Sir/Madam
My wife is an Australian citizen and she wants to carry baby for her sister in INDIA (not Australia, as Australian law do not permit sarrogation).
Now my wife sister wants to take that child to USA as she lives in USA and she is an Indian citizen ( not US citizen).
My Questions:
1. As my wife is an Australian citizen, will there be any problem in Australia if she give birth to her sister's child.
2. What do we have to do to make sure its legally done on part of my wife and my sister in law.
Your prompt answer will be appreciated.
Regards
