Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Australia

leases

i have a rent revue coming up for my motel and i believe i am paying to much rent for the lease,could you tel me if there is a formula for working out how much rent you pay or does the landlord just grab a figure out of the air and hope that someone will pay what they ask.

The formula will be in the lease. The landlord may decide on an arbitary figure but there will be a mechanism in the lease by which you can dispute it and have the objectively correct rent determined
