i am us citizen residing here at new york city.
i want to file a divorce . my wife is in bangladesh.
can i have lawyer from dhaka, bangladesh .who he can represent me
and file a divorce on behelf of me without me going to bamgladesh.

You may appoint a lawyer in Bangladesh for filing and conducting the divorce case on behalf of you who will complete the process and send back to you all papers regarding divorce. You may appoint the answering lawyer whos house usually does similar nature of jobs.
