Dear lawyer I am a uk citizen my wife and son live in bangladesh he is 6 months old i am wanting to divorce my wife will i be able to get custody before he is seven years old and if not then when he is seven years old will he have to choose who he wants to be with or will i get custody

yes you can if the court finds the mother is disqualified to take custody of your boy. The court considers the welfare and protection of the child. The court also consider the preference of the child.
