Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

Dear Sir:

I am a Bangladeshi women living in Bangladesh. How can I divorce my husband who lives in Saudi Arabia?

Please note that I don�t have the kabinnama or don�t know from where it was registered for which I don�t know if I have the right to divorce him.

What will be the approximate total expenditure regarding the divorce if I file a divorce case?

I will be grateful if you help me.

Do you have any special power to divorce your husband in the Kabinnama? If not, then you can never divorce him. But, if your husband is not looking after you for certain time or if he is sexually disabled then you can divorce him.

You can easily collect the Kabinnama from the Kazi Office, where the marraige was solemnized. Cost of the case is very nominal.
