Arbitration as a means of dispute resolution is dependent upon interaction with the courts. The duty of the courts is to support arbitration proceedings, to issue injunctions and to ensure that justice is observed. Critically analyze the validity of the above statements under English law.

To satisfy your concern, please note that arbitration proceedings are independent proceeding and Court would lean in favor of giving absolute effect to such agreement.

Whenever any lis is bought in the court of law, which is subject matter of arbitration agreement, then the same would be referred to the arbitration and lis would be stayed.

The view to setup an independent and impartial machinary of dispute resolutation, which is choosen by the parties themself to the agreement, and courts lean in favour of such arrangements.
