Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Bangladesh
My father purchased a land before 30 years and he made a house over the land. Our neighbor is now complaining that he owns the land. And now he demands money for the land. So far I know that, he (neighbor) did never posses this land. Please let us know what to do.

You can sue against the neighbor under the Specific Relief Act. Please contact with a Civil Lawyer near you.

If your neighbor has any title document regarding your father's land, please check it. Find the loophole in it and challenge it before any court of law. Alternatively you may sue for permanent injunction so that your neighbor can never dispossess you without due process.
