In principle it is legal to sell over the web, on the condition that you fulfill all the legal conditions.

Selling ovet the web requires certain procedures to be taken into account. The question is also what are you selling (a license or the property rights!). In this connection I presume you own the intellectual property on the web designs you are selling.
