Buying a house

Hello, can you please tell me if it is possible for a Russian citizen to buy a house, appartement in Belgium. If so, what are the rules, requirements, what kind of papers does this person has to have?

The fact of being russian citizen or belgian is not relevant for buying a house or appartmentin Belgium. You need the money of course and having reached majority (18 years old). For the paperword you would need a certified copy of your birth certificate, if married same of your matrimonial contract and conditions. Best thing to do is to contact a notary public. You will find the names of such officers on the web under "notaire.be" (french language) or "notaris.be" (flemish language).
