Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

My dad has been US resident here in the United States for a little over 20 years now and i was curious to know if there is anyway possible that i might be able to be sponsored by him to become a resident myself or even get my citizenship here in the US?

If you are married, your father as a green card holder cann't apply, If you are single, your father can apply for your green card. It also depends, how you entered the country. Has your dad considered applying for U.S. citizenship? If he has had trouble due to language requirements, there are some exceptions based on various factors. If your father were to file for you if he is a resident, it will be many, many years before you can be admitted. But, as a U.S. citizen, your dad's petition for you won't take as long.
