Legal Question in Family Law in California

Definition of child endangerment

While in an argument with my wife she threw--name removed--pair of kitchen meat scissors at me. Our 4 year son was standing three feet away from me when she did this. Also yelling words of profanity at me while our son was there present. I asked her to stop with the bad words in front of our son. She did not an only escalated the violent verbal behavior. Is this considered child endangerment?

Re: Definition of child endangerment

It is certainly enough for you to go in on an ex parte basis and request domestic violence restraining orders against your wife, protecting you and your son from her, as well as obtaining sole legal and sole physical custody of your son. Has something like this happened before? It's important you take care of this ASAP
