Legal Question in Family Law in California

Looking for a divorce lawyer

I'm in the market for a good divorce lawyer. I've met with a few and they seem to be all about the money. I guess it's the nature of the business.

-Anyhow, what should I be looking for in a divorce lawyer?

-Should their high rate determine how good they are?

-How much do I lose by getting an average lawyer?

-How much should I expect to spend?

Thanks.

Price does not matter, if you have some time go into the family court in the morning and watch the attorneys. You can tell which ones are prepared, and have the judges respect. Feel free to call the office if you would like to discuss in more detail.

It's difficult to find an attorney who doesn't think primarily about the money, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. I would ask around to some friends and see if they have used a divorce attorney or know of someone who used a divorce attorney. Also, if you know an attorney who practices in any other field, ask him if he can refer a good family law attorney. Referrals are usually the best way to go.
