Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I hurt my shoulder at work and they finally did a MRI after two weeks. The doctor said i have a partial tear so he gave me a week off from work cause im on light duty. I go back in a week to see him and he sends me back to work on light duty. Im still having pain and nothing has changed in a week, is there anything i can do besides keep telling him that it hurts. Also my small and ring finger are having numbness and tingling feelings ever since i got injured at work. I asked the doctor what can be causing this and he has no clue why. What can i do about this?

This is a classic way insurance company treat injured worker's. You immediately need to change your doctor. Employers normally send injured worker's to clinic such as US Health Works or Concentra or Kaiser because they always send injured people back to work (so insurance company doesn't have to pay temporary disability benefits) and turn blind eyes to injured complaints and only treat what the employer or insurance company report to them .
