KIMBERLY BURKE LAW OFFICE OF KIMBERLY R BURKE

Dependency court is very different than other courts so if you hire an attorney, make sure you ask about their experience with dependency cases before you decide to retain them. Consultations should be offered free of charge so you can find out about the fees, payment plans, and the attorney's experience. Make sure they make you feel comfortable and confident in the person you hire but most importantly, be sure they are available to make your case a priority. You will be given an appointed attorney much like a public defender if you can not afford to hire an attorney.
