Legal Question in Family Law in California

A mother want to leave her baby father and the child was born out of wedlock in the state of california and the mother has been taking care of the father and the child and the father has a criminal record and the mother want to move to another state with the child but the father is keeping her there against her will what should she do?

The mother needs to retain a family law attorney immediately. She may then file an Order to Show Cause which will allow her to move out of State with the child.
