Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am the Respondent in a Divorce which was granted by default last year. I recently filed Petitions to Modify Spousal Support, Child Support and Parenting Time. My former wife's attorney recently sent me both a "Request for Production of Documents and Things to Respondent" as well as "Uniform Law Interrogatories". I have no issue with producing all documentation evidencing income. What will occur if I do not produce the requested documentation related to my checking/savings and monthly credit card statements?

If you do not answer timely, then your wife can take you to Court for a motion to compel. In those motions, sanctions are mandatory. If you need help, call me at 949-891-0581.

As Mr. Kaiho indicates, you will be ordered to do so by the court and you will be charged with her attorneys fees for putting them to the trouble and expense of a motion to compel.
