Legal Question in Family Law in California

My son's mother took him away to a different city (San Bernardino) I am trying to file paper work to be able to see my child. I live in the city of Long Beach California. Where can I file? Also it is unknown where she lives the only address i was able to obtain was her work address in Barstow California

There are many questions that need to be answered. Is there a current order in place? If so what county is the order from? If there is no order you will need to file in the county where the children reside as that is where jurisdiction lies. If you have no other address you can have a process server serve her the papers at work.
