I have a possible ADA case

I was recently offered a job in a field for which I have 15 years of experience and great references. The department head said I must pass a physical before I could be hired. I was required to fill out a six page questionaire asking all kinds of questions about my health and wherther I had ever filed for disability compensation or workers comp, which I have in both cases. I disclosed that I had a hip replacement operation last year. I was told to get permission from my doctors in order for the company to complete their exam on me. My primary physician said in writing that I could do all of the work that was defined in the job description, but my orthopedic doctor said I could not lift more than 75 pounds, could not squat or crawl. These three activities were listed on the job description, yet I know the job can be done without that much physical exertion, especially if "reasonable accommodations" were made.

The job was denied to me. What recourse do I have. I do not wish to sink any money into a suit, but if a lawyer wishes to take on the case on a contigency basis, I'd like to talk.

Let me see if I got this straight, You want to sue someone for not giving you a job that your own doctor told them you cannot do and you want someone else to pay for the litigation expenses? I think I'll pass.
