ADA Expert Witness Testimony
Is it necessary to call an expert witness to establish a failure to accomodate. If not, what lay witness testimony is helpful to establish this element

It largely depends on the type of disability and the nature of the accommodation. As Bob Dylan wrote, "You don't need to be a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing."
The more obvious the disability and the more typical the accommodation, the less you would need an expert. If you are legally blind, an expert would not be needed to show you should be allowed to have a seeing eye dog accompany you.
