Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Age & Disability Discrimination Question

My fiance has more than 20 years successful experience as a mortgage banker. For the last 3 years he's been working online but he needs to re-enter the regular industry now & had an interview with Horizon last week for a position. He is older than 55 and has Multiple Sclerosis. This was his second interview with Horizon and he was asked questions both by e-mail and face to face about the extent of his illness even though no job offer had been made yet. The health related questions were so insulting and pointed that he told them to forget it & walked out. Isn't singling out health and age during job interviews illegal under the ADA? What should he do if this happens again with another potential employer?

Re: Age & Disability Discrimination Question

The prospective employer's questions were improper. A complaint should be filed with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
