Legal Question in Disability Law in California
I've been in two car accidents; neither my fault. two and a half yrs later, we're still in litigation w/the first one! the second was by an uninsured driver. our insurance was paying for back neck and pelvic sprain treatment. that stopped as they've sent the case for review! do I need a lawyer??

The secod case makes no sense as you present it. If you not at fault, your insurance pays the other party nothing; even if you are at fault, your insurance will only pay the property damage and does not pay for any medicdal treatment. As to the first case, the plaintiff has two years from the date of the accident to file suit, so if they waited until the last moment the case would last about 3 years after the date of injury in Northern Cal and a year or so longer in Soutthern California.
