Ours is a construction company in india.. we want to open branch office in us for marketing and sales... what are the legal formalities, and accouting and auditing procedure... kindly guide us

The lease must be reviewed and zoning laws to assure commercial rental is accommodated. The status of the workers need to be considered whether they will be independent contractors or employees. If employees workers compensation insurance must be purchased, unemployment insurance must be withheld long with taxes. If construction plans will be contracted for, then the plans must meed local building codes. Contact me directly for details.
