Legal Question in Disability Law in California

I have a handicapped parking placard, and a key to the front door, (which I have had with management approval since I was hired day 1, five years ago) but HR insists the policy is after 5pm the door is locked, and she insists I use a side door which is a large step and a walk across the parking lot. What are my rights?

Why is HR giving such orders? This seems like a question for your boss or some other supervisor. Moreover, the door is locked, it is merely that you can enter and relock it. If there was a fire in the building would she insist that the front door not be used as an escape opening? You have been using the front door for five years aas a reasonable accomodate to your handicap; why raise the issue now/ Does she not have more important work to do?
