was it legal for my employer to terminate me while i was still on disability sta
i suffered a seizure that fractured two of my vertabrae. the doctor put me on seizure medicine which has controlled the seizures since. however while still on disability, my employer terminated my employment stating i would now be a risk to their insurance. i know i did a good job as i even filled the position of supervisor for a time even though i had not been there as long as others. was this legal?

It may be illegal. You should call the local bar association and ask for a referral to a good employment law attorney. They should give you a free consultation and inform you of your rights as an employee. If they are unsure ask for a referral to an attorney who specializes in Discrimination.
