Legal Question in Disability Law in California
I recently got terminated from a big corporation, after worked there for twenty years and alway on call 24/7 basically you married to a cell phone. Company policy is if we miss four telephone call within a twelve month period we were subject to dismissal from employment, I had five in the time frame. In my case my last two I find out after going to my doctor and having a sleep study resulted in a sleep apnea, notify the company officer and everyone agreed to waIt on the results to conduct an investigation after turning paperwork in they carried an investigation and made a desition to terminate me. Can a company do that on medical reasons specially after everyone was notified?
