Legal Question in Administrative Law in California
Around 1985 I was with a friend at a hotdog shop who tried to sell about 3 grams of marijuana to an undercover cop. When the cops arrested him they arrested myself as well ( even though I had nothing in my possesion .
At the time I was unemployed so I had to settle for a court appointed lawyer that did absolutely nothing to help me . after an not guilty plea and a couple months I pleaded guilty so that I may get out on time served but at the same time was convicted on a Felony . What are my options at getting this dropped / reversed or cleared off my file . ( nothing else on my record since )
Thank you

You need to post this as a criminal law question asking about expunging a conviction. I do not practice criminal law but from the little I do know I would think that you have a good chance if those are all the significant facts, especially if you were very young at the time.
