Legal Question in Administrative Law in California
i am currently 18 years old and i have a law suit settlement from a few years back that had a option to get it at 18 or at 25. 25 was the chosen one but now i am going to be applying for the butte county fire academy in california and wanted to get the money out to pay for the tuition, equipment, and to get my feet on the ground housing wise. is this possable to get the settlement out now at 18? and if so how do i go about doing so?

You would have to file a petition with the court for release of the funds because of hardship, education, or other extraordinary reasons.
