Defense Strategy

I would like to know how I can effectively work with my Counsel to make the best case for my SSI claim? I have a non-visible disability and have been in appeals for 7 years.

Seven years? Yikes! Where lies the blame for the delay? Maybe your counsel is ineffective or out of his/her area of specialization. If you were in my area (North SF Bay), I'd have a firm to recommend. Maybe have some specialist firm give you a free initial consultation. Agencies are slow, but an on-the-ball counsel could find ways to prod them along before 7 years elapsed. Usually, at least.
