Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

I am filling out a background check information packet for Peace Officer job in a police dept. They are asking if police officer ever been called to my home? If yes, how do I properly answer this without jeopardizing my application?

My recommendation is "truthfully." There's probably (or at least perhaps, depending upon seriousness and recency) a record of the call, which they can dig up.
