Re: high school classes
Dear Santa Rosa law school aspirant:
There are no particular high school classes that are more important than others. Instead of focusing on a particular curriculum, you should take whatever sharpens your mind and adds to your mental powers to analyze, discern and understand.
Used to be that Latin was said to be important. While I wouldn't denigrate Latin as an academic foundation, the amount of Latin a lawyer needs to know in the 21st Century can be learned in 10 minutes.
The a general college prep curriculum, and emphasize language skills and thinking skills. Math doesn't hurt, either.
Gte into the best college you can afford, study hard, think about the issues, learn to use the English language well, stay out of trouble, and think and learn and reason to the fullest about everything you are lectured about and every news item and every event in life.
There is no magic formula. Do whatever it takes to develop your powers of reasoning and your ability to express yourself.
