HOA Board of Directors/Treasurer
The By-Laws of our HOA state that the Board of Directors Officers include the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. As of yesterday, the President of the BOD named a person not on the Board as Treasurer. Is that legal?

Most CC&R's allow officers (such as the treasurer) to be non-board members subject to appointment by the Board. Read your governing documents closely --if you have further issues or would like our review, feel free to contact my office.
