Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

Medical Prescription Error

I am a cancer patient currently in an Hospice Program thru Medicare. My medications are handled through a pharmacy program and delivered to my home. Much of my medications deal with strong painkillers. I received several prescriptions this week. One of the pain killers gave dosage directions that were 80 times stronger than the normal dose. In all probabilty the dosage as written, if consumed would have been lethal. The pharmacy involved has

habitually made errors of this fashion. I would like to ''sting'' them financially and send them a message that would correct this very serious problem. Is there a case here?

Re: Medical Prescription Error

I think so, but your question appeared in an inappropriate category of law on LawGuru. You will get a more knowledgeable answer if you re-submit it under a heading such as "medical malpractice" or "negligence." Administrative Law is the branch of law that deals with administrative agencies such as the zoning commission or Federal Aviation Agency.
