i am on S.S.I. and AM getting a divorce can my spouse recieve spousal support if she is healthy to work?

It'll be up to the judge, but I'd think that in 99% or more of cases, someone qualified in all respects to receive SSI would not be required to pay spousal support.

SSI is a needs based program generally there is no spousal support out of an entitlement/ welfare type payment.
