stealing or claim

someone i let them borough my stuff and he doesnt want to return. one of th items he took from me he sold it online. ive called him, email and on line message him. wanting to meet up, went to go talk to him and he doesnt want to talk to me.

It is impossible to determine if you sold the items, lent them, or what. Please, if you are going to ask a question of us you must use relatively correct grammar, not run your thoughts together, express your facts and questions clearly, etc.

I'd say this is more of a "claim" case if by that you mean "civil," where you make a claim for money damages in court, probably Small Claims here. However, what has happened is likely also a crime, probably embezzlement but possibly obtaining property by false pretenses; both of these are theft crimes. You might have a hard time getting the DA's attention, but maybe it's worth filing a police report.
