Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

My step sister has my last name and she is receiving SSI from my dead father however, she is not my dead father's daughter. My mother just used my dead father's last name. Her biological father is living and is now married to my mother. They only used my dead father's last name because he was an illigal immigrant @ that time. Do I have a case?

A case for what? Contact Social Security and see if she has to have been adopted by your father to qualify for benefits. If not, you can report her. Where upon your mother will scream at you and then stop speaking to you.

If it would make you feel better, go ahead, rat her out. Good citizen, bad sister.
