Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

Wrong order

I ordered a business card on behalf of a corporation for a sales manager.

I actually didn't proof read well but I said ok to the business card service.

We received the printed busienss card and had a misspelled title. My boss said I have to pay for that.

Is it legal?

Do I need to pay for this?

Re: Wrong order

If the misspelling was obvious, the printing company should have caught it; perhaps you could get them to pick up some of the charge. As to whether you have to pay for being negligent, quite possibly not, but if you do not will you lose your job? It may be worthwhile to eat crow and show you are a member of the team.
