Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in California
If the appellate division of the superior court filed on March 23, 2015 an order denying my petition for rehearing on a misdemeanor conviction, do I have until May 23, 2015 to file a Notice of Appeal in the court of appeal?

You need to look at the rules of court to determine how and when to seek review in the Court of Apppeal. The review is discretionary with the Court of Appeal. There is no right to appeal a decision by the Appellate Division of the Superior Court. You must file a timely review document. Sorry I don't know the applicable rule or exact timeline. It may be too late. Good luck.
