How is a record filed by Appendix in an

Re: Appendix
Look at Calif. Rules of Court 8.124, and 8.122. Basically an appendix is a copy of all materials the appellant (and respondent since a joint appendix is preferable) want to present to the appellate court for its review. This, along with transcripts of hearings, is the appellate record.
It is prepared by the appellant, and takes a lot of time to do properly.
