Cost of a legal release form/

What does it cost ($) verses what would a federal attorney charge ($) to send a release form for a signature to a prison inmate to begin representation for a prisoner?

I agree with Mr. Stone. It's hard to know what you're asking. The most likely interpretation is that you want to know what it will cost to hire a lawyer for a criminal appeal, but there is no way to even give you an estimate without knowing quite a bit about the case, including what happened in the trial court.

I don't know what you mean by "a federal attorney", unless you mean an attorney licensed to practice in federal court. Even if that is what you mean, you have asked us to compare what such an attorney would charge against something else -- without explaining what that something else is. There is no way to answer such an incomplete question.

I don't understand your question. How much will an attorney charge to represent a criminal defendant? It depends on the type and complexity of the case, of course. Or did you mean, how much do attorneys mark up the cost of a 41c postage stamp?
