Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in California

Exparte stay of judgement

I filed an ex parte motion to stay and motion to forfeit judgement against my eviction judgement. I am the tenant.I notified the other party's attorney via phone message. What other notification process am I required to do. I have the form that you have to file regarding the phone call. But I am afraid I will miss a step in the process thus causing my exparte motion to be dismissed. Please help ASAP. The hearing is Tuesday morning.
