The question is very vague. What is this child's age? Once an adoption becomes final you are responsible for the child's care and upbringing until that child becomes an adult. Once the child becomes an adult you can write a will dis inheriting that person from your estate. Earlier, a court can terminate your parental rights if it determines you lack the ability to properly care for the child. The child can apply to a court to be declared emancipated from you.
